Our programme offers four distinct tracks, each focusing on a critical aspect of Compliance:
You will have direct exposure to seasoned compliance industry specialists and leaders who are experts in the particular area. All sessions are interactive including teaching, case studies, group breakouts and discussions. Assessments are similarly designed to ensure skills learnt are thoroughly understood and grasped in practice and can be applied to work-life circumstances.
Successful completion of the programme qualifies you for a Certified Compliance Officer Advanced certification as well as eligibility to apply for an industry-recognised IBF Level 2 Certification in the relevant job family, recognising your achievement.
Financial Crime Compliance has become a pivotal focus for global regulators, with organisations facing significant penalties for non-compliance. This programme provides an in-depth understanding of Singaporean and international regulations, with a focus on combating financial crimes in the digital age, and how financial institutions can adapt to the changing technological landscape. This programme can be stacked towards a Diploma.
This course is designed for compliance professionals within the financial services sector with at least 3 years of relevant experience, including legal, enterprise/operational risk, audit professionals and those in control functions in the first line of defence. It is also relevant for external lawyers, consultants and accountants advising the financial services sector.

This programme is pending accreditation by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF). When accredited, Singaporeans and Permanent Residents will be eligible for funding support of up to 70% course fee subsidy under the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS).
Fees shown are after IBF-STS funding. Subsidised fees apply upon participants’ successful completion of the programme, which includes (i) fulfilling minimum attendance requirements and (ii) passing all relevant assessments.

Participants who wish to obtain CPD Points must comply strictly with the Attendance Policy set out in the CPD Guidelines. For this activity, participants are reminded to sign in on arrival and sign out at the conclusion of each day of the event in the manner required by the organiser. Participants must not be absent from each day of the event for more than 15 minutes. Participants may obtain Public CPD Points for each day of the event on which they comply strictly with the Attendance Policy. If you have more work experience, the Certified Compliance Officer (Advanced) programme would be more suitable.

This certificate is also relevant for legal, operational risk, controls and audit professionals seeking a robust understanding of the practice of Compliance.
The Certified Compliance Officer programme (IBF-STS Level 1) is designed for learners with 0 – 3 years of experience, fresh graduates, and individuals who wish to embark on a career in financial services.
The Certified Compliance Officer (Advanced) programme (IBF-STS Level 2) is designed for compliance professionals with at least 3 years of experience, ideal for individuals aspiring to senior leadership positions.

No, however, the Certified Compliance Officer programme is a prerequisite for the Advanced programmes if you do not have the minimum experience level.
The programme features only in-class assessments.
Yes, modules in this programme are stackable. Upon completion of the Certified Compliance Officer (Advanced) programme, you may extend your studies by taking more modules to complete the Advanced programmes such as the Advanced Diploma or Graduate Diploma.
There is a suggested order of completion, however, it is not crucial to do so.
If you happen to miss out on the module run, you will be able to attend the module during the next run. The maximum completion time would be within three years to attain the certificate successfully.
You will receive a WMI certificate of achievement for each module, and a programme certificate upon successful completion.

Successful completion of the programme with the requisite criteria also qualifies participants to apply for IBF certifications in the relevant job families. It is also relevant for legal, operational risk, controls and audit professionals seeking a robust understanding of the practice of Compliance.
Upon completion, participants will be equipped with the knowledge and tools necessary to enhance compliance practices, mitigate risks, and promote ethical behaviour in their financial institutions.
SkillsFuture Credit can be utilised to offset the balance of the programme fees after the IBF subsidy. Do note that SkillsFuture Credit cannot be used to offset Application Fees.
WMI will submit the IBF funding on your behalf. No action is required from your end. However, any discrepancies in registration details or failure to meet minimum IBF academic requirements will result in an unsuccessful IBF reimbursement claim. Students will be liable for the full tuition fees.
