The WMI Investment Accelerator Programme is designed in collaboration with industry leaders to empower university students and recent graduates aspiring to build successful careers in Singapore’s fast-growing financial sector. With a progressive learning pathway that transitions from fundamental concepts to advanced strategies, this programme will equip participants with the expertise and confidence to construct personal investment portfolios and to secure impactful internships and career opportunities with leading banks, asset managers, wealth managers, and other financial institutions.
Graduate with industry-recognised credential: Certificate in Fundamentals of Investment, and/or Certificate in Investment Principles (Dalio Market Principles Online)
Industry networking and career talks with leading financial institutions to secure internships and permanent job roles
Career advisory services with the IBF
This certification offers a broad overview of the different industry actors, asset classes, market forces, and implications for success within the asset and investment management space. This course will cover four key outcomes:
Hear more from our faculties:
Hear Ray share about the principles and insights that he developed across his 50+ years as a global macro investor. Use his principles as a springboard to develop your own.
Dive into a dynamic and interactive learning experience with videos, animations, and simulations.
Immerse yourself in frequent activities that challenge your understanding and reinforce your learning.
Just like having a world class investor as a personal coach, use our Generative AI Tutor to answer questions, get feedback, search through a vast repository of Ray’s writings, and learn at your own pace.
In markets and economies, the same things happen over and over again because the same cause-and-effect linkages are at work. See this in action across major market events, understand the underlying linkages and learn how to build portfolios to navigate these shifts.
See how your expectations for the future and investment decisions measure up, and learn from your mistakes in a safe space. Use our purpose-built Portfolio Simulator to create and stress test portfolios, disaggregate your portfolio’s performance across different macro-environments, and explore market and economic data from 40 major economies over the last 100 years.
Unsure where to begin?
Refer to our recommended pathway as a starting point, and continue building your pathway from there.
