Programme Overview

Private banking and wealth management have become a substantive sub-sector within financial services. The wide range of services, special risks and sensitivities create particular challenges in dealing with private clients. This course aims at equipping participants with a clear understanding of the challenges as well as relevant regulations and regulatory expectations in private banking and wealth management.

    • AML/CFT In Private Banking
    • Tax Evasion Risk
    • Investment Suitability and Client Fair Dealing

    • Dealing with Independent Asset Managers and Referrers
    • Conduct Risk

 

The course structure consists of a combination of classroom learning and assessments, with a total duration of 13 hours.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for compliance professionals within the financial services sector with at least 3 years of relevant experience, including legal, enterprise/operational risk, audit professionals and those in control functions in the 1.5 line of defence. It is also relevant for external lawyers, consultants and accountants advising the financial services sector.
