This programme equips compliance, risk audit, and legal professionals with essential skills to navigate the evolving regulatory landscape. Through core modules and specialised electives, participants gain deep insights into compliance strategy, policy formulation, incident handling, and advanced technologies like data analytics and Regtech.
Core modules cover fundamental compliance aspects, while advanced topics like Compliance Data Analytics focus on leveraging big data, machine learning, and AI to enhance decision-making. Specialisations, such as Financial Crime Monitoring and Regulatory Compliance in Financial Services, allow participants to tailor their learning to the financial industry, ensuring they can navigate complex regulations and manage risks effectively.
The programme offers hands-on learning with seasoned industry experts, using interactive sessions, case studies, and group discussions. Rigorous assessments ensure participants can apply their knowledge practically. Graduates will be eligible for IBF Level 2 certifications and an Advanced Diploma in Compliance Risk Management, positioning them as valuable assets in their organizations and preparing them to tackle regulatory challenges.

This programme is conducted on a part-time basis and you may select any module or complete the programme in a schedule that best fits you. Modules are delivered through a blended learning pedagogy, building on interactive pre-class online learning for foundation concepts and knowledge, reserving classroom for skills application and topics that have higher complexity. Modules feature assessments to check for learning transfer covered in online and classroom sessions.
The programme is structured with five mandatory core modules along with a choice of one out of two specialisations and one out of four electives.

Financial Crimes Compliance is a key focus area for regulators locally and globally with significant fines and penalties applied. This module will provide participants with an understanding of Singapore regulations, overview of key financial crime risks and design of financial crime programmes including in the context of a changing technological landscape. The Compliance function also serves to provide challenge and independent oversight through robust compliance monitoring and surveillance. Participants will be able to design, establish and operate effective and efficient monitoring and surveillance programmes and control processes leveraging the use of technology.

The Family Office Risk Management and Controls Programme is designed to build capabilities in the family office ecosystem to maintain and safeguard Singapore’s position as an international financial centre with high standards of transparency and compliance risk management and controls.

Regulators worldwide have introduced regulatory frameworks to regulate digital assets such as digital payment tokens, stablecoins, utility tokens, and digital securities. The emerging financial landscape including fintech and decentralised finance with new digital/virtual asset classes, new business activities products and services and expanded customer segments and access presents opportunities, rewards and risks with attendant legal, regulatory and compliance considerations.
The Digital Assets – Regulatory & Compliance course sets out to provide an understanding of digital/virtual asset classes in the fintech ecosystem, and deepen participants’ understanding of the relevant legal, regulatory compliance and risk issues.

Compliance functions play a vital role financial institutions’ risk management efforts. Such role has traditionally been to ensure that financial institutions operate with integrity and adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Increasingly, Compliance functions are challenged to maintain effective Compliance Management Programs (‘CMP’) which prevent and detect instances of non-adherence to internal & external regulations as well as inappropriate business conduct. International regulators responded to several high-profile cases in recent years, and further enhanced and clarified regulatory requirements and supervisory expectations. In many any cases, enforcement proceedings focused on the role of the Compliance function and the effectiveness of the CMP.
