Programme Overview

A large number of alternative investments can be found in private markets. For many years, private market investments have been widely used in institutional portfolios with the aim to enhance risk-adjusted returns, support more resilient portfolios and provide diversification and hedging advantages. In recent years private markets have become more accessible to family offices and HNWI, which has driven greater interest in the sector. Many wealth managers and family offices are seeking to deepen their understanding of how to effectively build alternative investments into their portfolio, and what are the key portfolio and risk considerations involved.

Developed in partnership with Blackstone Private Wealth, this course seeks to equip participants with essential insights into considerations for building alternative investments into portfolios, covering key portfolio strategies, risk management considerations, and the latest innovations in private market access.

Through comprehensive teachings, practical case studies, and an engaging fireside chat discussion, participants will gain valuable insights into the exciting world of private markets, and enhance their asset allocation skills. Participants are strongly encouraged to discuss key takeaways with peers and ask questions throughout the session.
