Co-developed with the CFA Institute, the learner will gain valuable insights on how to resolve challenging ethical dilemmas using their Ethical Decision-Making Framework.
Covered Persons operate in an environment where the ethical boundaries between client, advisor, managers and peers are constantly evolving.
Using the regulatory framework, the Private Banking Code of Conduct, as foundation, the Covered Person must build their own value systems and personal code of conduct.
Doing so will allow them to exercise integrity, professionalism, competence and care when managing client relationships.

Building on CPBL1, this module focuses on commonly faced ethical dilemmas in the wealth management industry through case studies. Partnering with Dr Mary Gentile from Darden University, a key component of this module is the innovative “Giving Voice to Values” (GVV) approach to values-driven development. The GVV curriculum will offer skills and tools for handling these dilemmas in the workplace in an authentic and results-oriented way.

The Level 1 programme is designed for professionals with less than 3 years of experience in Private Banking (or serving the HNW client segment):
New entrants and mid-career switch professionals should complete the CACS assessment before starting with the Level 1 programme.
The Level 2 programme is designed for professionals with 3 years or more of experience in Private Banking (or serving the HNW client segment).
Mid-career switch professionals should first complete the CACS Examinations and start with the Level 1 programme before embarking on Level 2.
