Governance and Human Resources

Ms Chan May Yee is Director, Governance and Human Resources at the Wealth Management Institute. As secretariat to the Board and Board Committees, May Yee is responsible for all board and corporate/risk governance matters and management of WMI’s external fund managers. May Yee also oversees human resource management as well as faculty affairs at WMI.

 

Prior to her role at WMI, May Yee worked as a risk professional for more than 20 years in GIC. She held roles across various risk disciplines and managed cross functional teams in Risk and Performance Management including Investment Monitoring, Credit Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, and Risk Governance & Policy. Her last appointment at GIC was Head, Risk Governance, Strategy & Planning, responsible for business management and risk governance matters. Chan May Yee started her career in Private Banking operations at UOB and Credit Agricole.

 

May Yee studied Economics and Statistics at the National University of Singapore and was top in Statistics in her cohort. She is a CFA charter holder.

Mr Isaac Lin

Finance

Mr Isaac Lin is Head, Finance and is responsible for all finance and account matters at the Wealth Management Institute.

 

Isaac has more than 15 years of auditing and financial experience spanning from international auditing firm, SGX listed company, a statutory board and national grid operator.

 

Isaac holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Accountant (Singapore).

Mr Jason Wong

Director,

Learning and Technology

Mr Jason Wong is Director, Learning and Technology at the Wealth Management Institute. He is responsible for WMI’s eLearning, technology and system solutions, as well as the development of the campus facilities.  

 

Jason has significant experience and expertise in education, training & development and use of training technology.  Prior to joining WMI, Jason was with the Singapore Aviation Academy (SAA), the main training arm of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS).  Over the 10 years with SAA, Jason’s responsibility includes training and development across all the Schools at SAA, covering curriculum development, assessment, and international accreditation to learning processes.  

 

Jason regularly presented at international aviation conferences to share best practices in training, curriculum development and the use of innovative training methodologies and technologies. He was a recipient of several awards for training and innovation such as the Minister’s Value-for-money Award and CAAS Director-General Innovation Award.  Before his stint at the airport, he was the Head of Information Communication Technology at an MOE secondary school, on top of teaching Mathematics and Design & Technology. 

 

Jason holds a Masters in Training and Development from Griffith University, an Honours degree in Building and Real Estate from the National University of Singapore, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the Nanyang Technological University of Singapore.
