SUMMARY:Strategic Governance and Investment Insights for Family Offices
DESCRIPTION:One of the strengths of the GFO Circle is the peer sharing and learning\, based on the insights of our members. \n  \nJoin us for the next GFO Partners Circle Knowledge-Based Learning Series session\, to explore the latest governance and investment strategies shaping family offices in the US.The fireside chat will explore insights from the JP Morgan Global Family Office Survey Report 2024 on key topics including governance and decision making\, investment management\, succession planning and family office operations. \n  \nThe evening will feature global industry experts from J.P. Morgan Private Bank\, one of the Corporate Members of the GFO Circle. \n  \nHear from Elisa Shevlin Rizzo\, Managing Director\, Head of Family Office Advisory\, US & Antoine des Noyers\, Executive Director\, Southeast Asia Head of Alternative Investments\, Singapore in an interactive discussion moderated by Brian San\, Executive Director\, Programmes and Strategic Development\, WMI. They will address a critical need identified across global families – family governance and succession planning and share real-world examples and best practices that have worked well for US families. We will delve and consider strategies across global families to prepare the rising generation amidst the challenges and the opportunities identified in the Report. In addition\, we will also examine one of the top takeaways from the Report – 45% average allocation to alternatives and discuss how large institutions & pension funds approach alternatives – how that differs from the approaches from family offices\, and deep-dive into the due diligence and manager selection\, amongst others. \n  \nThis session will be especially helpful for any of our members who want to learn about relevant good practices the US and globally and how they may be relevant and tailored towards family offices in Asia. \n  \nGet in touch with our GFO Circle Team for event enquiries
