SUMMARY:Roundtable: Timeless Principles of Succession – Transcending Culture & Heritage
DESCRIPTION:Many Asian families today stand at a crossroads\, with trillions in assets poised for intergenerational transition. Despite a strong desire to preserve family identity and values—a longing that resonates “in the genes” across cultures—succession remains fraught with hesitation and complexity. \n  \nWe shared our key findings from WMI’s Research report: “Asia’s Succession Moment: Closing the Planning Gap to Safeguard Legacy” on how Asia’s families can bridge the planning gap and craft enduring legacies\, drawing on both timeless principles and new approaches. Our guest speakers explored the emotional and strategic barriers to effective planning\, sharing success stories from their research and experiences that reflect the time-honoured wisdom of different cultures in transmitting wealth across generations.  \n\nSpeaker:  \n\nMs Doutzen Groothof \nMs Lee Wong
