Programme Overview

The Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management qualification and achievement will form an important step towards lifelong learning and continuous upskilling of competencies. We look forward to starting this journey with you.

Modules

Each of the seven modules is individually crafted to impart knowledge capital for various skills, competencies and trends covering the full spectrum of wealth management related to the high-net-worth (HNW) client segment. Choose based on learning needs, job role or simply interest and curiosity.

 

Our Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management (ADWM) allows the learner to graduate with an academic qualification as well as an industry-recognised certification from the Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore (IBF).For those who wish to be accorded the Advanced Diploma, all seven modules and assessments should be completed within a span of three years. Persons with at least 3 years of relevant experience will, in addition, be eligible for IBF Level 2 Private Banking certification.

Who Should Attend

  • Minimum Education: Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum Work Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum English Language requirement (only if English was not the medium of instruction used at the highest qualification): TOEFL score > 100; IBT or IELTS score > 6.5.

 

WMI will consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis and if needed, an interview may be requested.

 

Graduation Criteria

 

  • Successful completion of all six 19.5-hour courses and assessments
  • Successful completion of the 8-hour Ethics, Regulatory Compliance & Client Onboarding (Online) course and assessment
  • Achieve a minimum CGPA of 2.50 at the completion of the Advanced Diploma
  • Complete the Advanced Diploma within 3 years from the date of admission of the first course taken
  • Successful recipients of the “Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management” who have at least 3 years of relevant or private banking experience and meet all other relevant IBF certification criteria can apply for IBF Certification under “IBF Advanced (Level 2) in Private Banking and Wealth Management – Sales & Relationship Management”. Companies will apply directly with IBF for this certificate on behalf of their sponsored participants.

  • All modules have been individually accredited to IBF-Standards Training Scheme and are eligible for IBF funding and CPD hours.

Advanced Diploma

 

  • Upon meeting all Graduation Criteria listed below, participants will be awarded an “Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management” issued by Wealth Management Institute International Pte Ltd.

 

IBF Certification

 

  • Participants who successfully complete this Advanced Diploma in Wealth Management programme can apply with IBF for the certification title “IBF Advanced (Level 2) in Private Banking & Wealth Management (Relationship & Sales Management)”. T&Cs apply.
  • Eligible for waiver of CACS CPD hours in the current and following year upon attaining IBF Certification.

Note:

In addition to Course Fees, each participant will also be charged a non-refundable and non-claimable application fee of S$85 (including GST).

 

SkillsFuture Credit can be utilised to offset the balance of the programme fees after IBF subsidy. It is not available for the Additional SFC (Mid-Career Support). Do note that SkillsFuture Credit cannot be used to offset Application Fees.

 

NTUC members enjoy 50% unfunded# course fee support for up to $250 each year when you sign up for courses supported under Union Training Assistance Programme (UTAP). NTUC members aged 40 and above will get increased funding support from $250 to $500.

#Unfunded course fee refers to the balance course fee payable after applicable government subsidies. This may include materials fees, registration fees and misc fees.
